Tight Security in Malawi as Soche Police foil money heist at Chichiri Complex mall

Under President Lazarus Chakwera, the security is getting tighter and tighter following the operation by Soche Police detectives in the commercial capital of Blantyre in foiling an attempted heist on an armored cash van, in a gunfight at Chichiri shopping mall earlier this morning.

According to Blantyre police deputy publicist, Sgt. Aubrey Singanyama, police officers managed to shoot and apprehend the suspects. They were shot disabling their legs and apprehending them and also taking hold of the Honda Freed Vehicle they were using with a fake registration plate therein.

Social media is full of praise for the men in uniform for the good news as the police are known for their corrupt behavior of swarming the streets with the aim of stealing from motorists. The Police if they can continue on this trajectory, will earn for themselves the respect that Malawians have lost for them.

From the Shire Times, we say, Bravo our Police!
