President Dr. Lazarus MacCarthy Chakwera is presently joining fellow heads of state and government from both Africa and beyond to participate in the inauguration ceremony of President Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
During this occasion, President Dr. Chakwera intends to engage with other leaders on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony. A one-on-one meeting with President Tshisekedi focusing on regional peace is also on his schedule.
In endorsing President Chakwera’s journey to the Democratic Republic of Congo, former Malawi diplomat to France and Mozambique, Ziliro Chibambo, emphasized the significance of the meeting with President-elect Felix Tshisekedi for the nation.
