The Malawi media is mourning the death of Nomsa Mkandawire Taulo who once worked for the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). She died last evening after a short illness. Nomsa joined MBC in 2004 before she left in 2012.
Last year she joined the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as a South Sudan Communications and Innovations Analyst.
Her former workmates at MBC received the news with shock and said they will miss her as a hard worker and team worker.
Misa Malawi Chairperson, Golden Matonga, also said Nomsa will be remembered as a dedicated and ambitious communications professional who worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the vulnerable, more especially rural women.
