Gladys Ganda Humiliated with public apology for Speaking the Truth, While Vuwa Kaunda Walks Free

Prophet Liabunya says he will no longer be President again

In a stunning display of political vendetta, Nsanje Lalanje MP Gladys Ganda has been publicly shamed and coerced into issuing a groveling apology, all because she dared to speak the truth. Her supposed “crime”? Offering well-deserved praise to President Lazarus Chakwera for delivering vital electricity to her constituency and boosting the Constituency Development Fund, a move that has tangibly elevated the lives of her people.

For this honest commendation, Peter Mutharika, consumed by jealousy and insecurity, immediately dismissed Ganda as the DPP’s National Director of Elections, unleashing his wrath for merely acknowledging the good done by his political rival. The stark contrast could not be more glaring—while Ganda is punished for praising progress, Vuwa Kaunda, who similarly lauded Chakwera, faces no consequences. Why? Because Ganda is a woman, and Mutharika’s leadership, steeped in fear and personal vendettas, cannot tolerate a powerful female voice speaking out.

This political strong-arming is a reminder of why the DPP must not be allowed to return to power in 2025. Unlike Chakwera, a leader who embraces dissent and even works with former adversaries like Jessie Kabwira, Mutharika is a relic of a past where personal grudges dictate governance. This petty, fear-driven leadership has no place in a future Malawi.
