Under the vibrant leadership of Speaker of Parliament Catherine Gotani Hara, who also serves as the deputy secretary general of the ruling Malawi Congress Party (MCP), Parliament has extended an open invitation to all students in the country, encouraging them to visit at their convenience for their various educational purposes.

This announcement came during a visit by fourth-year students from the Catholic University of Malawi’s Accountancy Program yesterday. The students organized the tour to gain insight into the allocation of national budgets and the role Parliament plays in the budgetary process, aiming to enrich their understanding of Public Finance and Public Sector Accounting.

According to Parliament’s social media team, the institution warmly welcomes visits from members of the public, including students from tertiary, secondary, and primary schools. Interested parties can arrange visits by simply writing the Clerk of Parliament to express interest.
